How we handle your documents
MizanCompta processes your professional documents to provide the OCR, previews, history, and exports you request. We do not sell uploaded documents, OCR results, or business data, and we do not make them public.
We use technical service providers needed to operate the service, such as hosting, infrastructure, databases, object storage, email delivery, payment processing, and OCR/AI processing. They process data only as needed to provide, secure, bill, and maintain the platform, or where required by law.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account and login information such as name, email address, username, password hash, subscription plan, payment status, processing credits, contact requests, support messages, and account activity. We may also keep records of tasks launched through the platform, including task type, selected pages and fields, processing status, timestamps, output filenames, and credit usage.
2. Uploaded documents, OCR content, and exports
When you upload PDFs, images, invoices, receipts, contracts, purchase orders, delivery notes, or similar business documents, we may store the original file, optimized processing copies, extracted text, structured OCR results, preview data, generated Excel or export files, and related metadata needed to provide the service.
To perform the extraction you request, document content or derived page images may be transmitted to OCR/AI services, including model providers, only to analyze pages and produce structured fields. You should avoid uploading documents unless you have authority to process them through MizanCompta.
3. Usage analytics, logs, and cookies
We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, session identifiers, pages visited, task events, errors, performance logs, and security logs. We may use cookies or similar basic technical storage to keep users signed in, remember interface preferences, support language selection, protect the service, and understand usage patterns.
4. Storage, retention, and security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect account data and uploaded documents. No internet service, storage system, or automated processing workflow can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
In standard mode, files and exports may remain available in My Files so you can recover, download, or delete them. In one-time delivery mode, files are not kept in downloadable history after delivery, subject to temporary processing copies, technical logs, backups, and legal requirements. We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and support backups.
5. Technical service providers
MizanCompta may use technical providers needed for hosting, infrastructure, databases, object storage, OCR/AI processing, model execution, email delivery, payment processing, monitoring, analytics, and security. These providers process data only as needed to deliver, maintain, secure, bill, and improve the platform, subject to their contractual and technical safeguards.
6. OCR processing and extraction models
Uploaded files may be converted, compressed, split by page, analyzed with OCR, and processed by models to identify fields and produce structured data for the service you request. Results may contain errors. Users remain responsible for reviewing extracted data before professional use.
7. User rights and requests
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may be able to request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, or other handling of your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and account authority before completing a request.
8. International transfers and legal requirements
Because the service may use cloud infrastructure and third-party providers, data may be processed in countries other than your own. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigation, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of users, the platform, or others.
